The Jerusalem Bird Observatory (JBO) is part of the Israeli Ornithological Center of the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel (SPNI).

The JBO strives to protect urban wildlife sites. All of its Ecological, research, and educational activities are non-profit.

SPNI is a registered NGO and all donations made to it are tax deductible.

 

In addition to participation in JBO activities, you can also become a JBO member.

 Jerusalem Bird Observatory Membership

Bird Club Membership includes:

v     Membership to Cnafayim (the national membership of the Israel Ornithological Center, see below).

v     free participation in all ringing sessions

v     free participation in weekly afternoon bird walks at the Jerusalem Bird Observatory

v     free once a month nature and bird walks in different locations in Jerusalem (according to the JBO's public walks program)

v     discounts on all bird trips and activities of the Jerusalem Bird Observatory (in addition to "Cnafayim" discounts)

v     10% discount at the JBO shop

 

Annual fee:  Family 450 NIS,  Single 350 NIS
 

JBO Overseas Membership

Overseas membership in the JBO includes:

v     free participation in weekly JBO walks and ringing sessions while visiting the country

v     discounts on all special activities and trips around Israel

v     10% discount in the JBO shop

Ideal for those who only visit the country once in a while and who wish to support the work of the JBO.
